The droplets of water that make up fog are so small that it would take 7 trillion droplets to make one tablespoon of water! Did you know fog can actually be “harvested” and used as a source of drinking water in the world’s driest environments?  Called “fog harvesting,”  tiny water droplets can condense onto a mesh panel and be collected.  Fog forms in mountainous locations, such as the mountains of Africa, where water is scarce and people are in need of clean water.
